Job Description
BlockTrace is at the forefront of digital asset analytics, building cutting-edge software solutions to help clients analyze complex blockchain and financial data. We are looking for a Full Stack TypeScript/JavaScript Developer to join our engineering team and play a pivotal role in developing and scaling client analytical tools.
As a Full Stack Developer, you will work on a modern web stack with a focus on performance, scalability, and intuitive UI/UX. You should have strong problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of TypeScript, React, and Node.js, and the ability to work independently to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Development
Build and maintain scalable full-stack applications using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
Develop responsive UI components with Redux and TailwindCSS to enhance user experience.
Design and optimize backend services with Express.js and Mongoose (MongoDB) or SQL alternatives.
Develop and integrate APIs for internal and external services.
Technical Problem Solving & Performance Optimization
Debug and optimize frontend and backend performance.
Solve challenges independently, leveraging best practices in modern web development.
Identify and implement scalable architectures for complex applications.
Collaboration & Process Improvement
Work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define technical requirements and deliver new features.
Maintain a clean and maintainable codebase using Git, NPM, and modern development workflows.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile project management.
Job Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship is required due to requirements specified within client contracts.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret clearance.
3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack JavaScript/TypeScript Developer.
Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and Redux.
Proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB (or similar SQL/NoSQL databases).
Expertise in TailwindCSS and component libraries for responsive UI development.
Ability to develop and interact with APIs, including RESTful and GraphQL services.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on technical challenges.
Experience using Git, NPM, and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel on a case-by-case basis to work with teammates and customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Existing Top Secret clearance.
Experience working in security, forensics, or analytical software.
Familiarity with blockchain technologies and digital assets (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.).
Experience with serverless architectures and cloud platforms like AWS.
Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress.
